Pricing, plainly answered.
Everything you might want to know before you choose Free or Pro.
How much does Mumble cost?
Mumble Pro is $4 a month, or $36 a year (that's $3 a month, a 25% saving). There's also a free plan if you bring your own AI key.
What's in the free plan?
Unlimited dictation using your device's own speech recognition, private notes, draggable blocks and the highlighter. All five AI features work with your own OpenAI, Claude or Grok key.
What do I get with Pro?
A premium cloud speech engine that's more accurate than built-in dictation, built-in AI with no key needed, private notes synced to every device, Mumble for Chrome and members-only updates.
How does the free trial work?
Pro starts with a 7-day free trial, and you don't need a card to start. When the trial ends, join monthly or yearly to keep using Pro features. Your notes stay yours either way.
How does bring your own AI work?
Paste an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or xAI (Grok) into your Profile. It stays on your device, and Mumble sends each request to your provider without storing it. Your provider bills you directly, usually a fraction of a cent per note.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Pro comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the refund policy.
Who handles billing?
Payments are processed by Paddle, which sells Mumble memberships on our behalf and handles receipts and sales tax.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, whenever you like.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, and your notes stay in your account.
